This is for those who like all things roasted. Take Sencha green tea and roast it with charcoals and you get Hōjicha or simply put, a Roasted Green Tea kombucha. The roasting process lowers the caffeine from green tea as well as imparting a nutty/caramel note. Traditionally Hōjicha tea is best enjoyed after a meal, but we reckon that as a kombucha flavour, it is a treat anytime of the day.
